Zhejiang Sunny Optics Co., Ltd is responsible for all research, design, development, test and qualification of compact camera lens, AR/VR related optics components and systems, drone related optics components, diffractive optical elements, automotive illumination optics, etc. Our North America team is looking for a product manager to work on varies exciting projects and help us in growing our North America business.
This is a full-time position based in San Jose, CA and will report to the general manager of Sunny North America company with tight collaboration with teams in Sunny China HQ. This job has the opportunity to work in a small but high effective and rapid growth team; the opportunity to understand mass production in optical industry and the optical component business.
Responsibilities: 1. Build and maintain long-lasting business relationship with sourcing, operation and R&D teams 2. Serve as liaison between internal team and customers regarding day-to-day operation issues 3. Drive revenue and sales by engaging with existing customer’s sourcing team 4. Plan methodically for future customer and revenue expansion 5. Competitor research regarding pricing and sales strategies 6. Market research regarding product trend, industry trend and consumer demand trend
Key qualifications: 1. 3+ years of industry (account management) experience, preferably in consumer electronics components or related industry 2. BS in Optics/Electronics/Physics/Mechanics 3. Excellent technical, management and communication skills 4. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills 5. Experience in working with big accounts or Tier 1 customers a big plus 6. Deep understand of modern electronics components manufacturing methods and processes 7. Any camera lens, component manufacturing experience a big plus 8. Strong passion in establishing and retaining a long-term meaning relationship with customers 9. Self-starter with qualities such as innovation, integrity and attention to details 10. Proficient in both English and Chinese
