In the software research and development (R&D) team, you willbe a key member to develop high quality software and contribute to all phasesof the development process from designing to release. During this internship,you will have the opportunity to know and contribute to leading edgelithography software, with guidance from senior members in the team. At the endof internship, you will give a presentation of your accomplishments, and yourwork will be evaluated for integration into products. A good candidate shouldexhibit math savvy, strong software skills, be self-motivated and collaborativewith team members.
Job Description The responsibilities of this job covers most lithographic processsimulation and optimization development, includes but is not limited to mask optimizationalgorithm, geometry operations, effective full field layout handling, customerspecific process requirement, etc.
· Be responsible to turngeneral requirement definitions into functioning modules. · Develop and test thealgorithms. · Maintain the currentcode base and support customer escalations. · Analyze and improvesoftware performance and efficiency. · Other duties asassigned.
Education andExperience · Bachelors student in ComputerScience, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related areas. At least two years of completededucation. PhD or Master’s preferred. · Solid understanding in datastructures and algorithms. · Experience in C/C++, and / or otherobject-oriented software development. · Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills. - Familiar with Linux environment.
· Experience in unit test framework isa good plus. · Experience in image processing,computational geometry, large data application, high performance computing andscientific simulation is a good plus. · Knowledge in semiconductorlithography and IC design is a good plus.
